ABOUT SIERRA'S CHARITY

Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action to carry on Sierra's dream.

Members of her family include her mother, Lisa Chamberlain, who is President of the organization, Sierra's older sister, Heather Foor,  Secretary, and her brother Eric Farabaugh, Treasurer.

Also joining us is Sierra's father, John Farabaugh and her step-father, Rob Chamberlain.

Other special persons in our non profit charity are many of her amazing friends & family that loved her so much.

 And a special thank you to Carrie Wicker, who created the logo for the charity.

Sierra Strong, Inc was formed in July of 2021, following the untimely passing of Sierra Farabaugh, age 21.

Sierra tragically passed away on 6/20/21 in a motorcycle accident.

It was her life long goal to help children & young adults,  get a good start in life by raising money through a charitable organization that would assist them with college tuition, books, etc.,

When Sierra was young, she used to help the homeless & veterans with donations as well.

She also wanted to assist in providing others who were not financially able to afford it, with boxing & gym equipment so they could go after their dreams.

 Sierra was very active in boxing and had been well loved & known in that community by all.  

 In 2017 she won her first sanctioned boxing fight in Altoona, PA.

She had an ACL injury in 2019, rehabbing her knee and was just starting to train again for more boxing.

The sport brought her so much confidence and happiness, and she always said she wanted to give someone else a chance to have that same opportunity as she did. 

  With the formation of this charity, it's her family and friends' goals to help others so we can carry on her name & legacy so that she may never be forgotten.
